29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-sloped roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line systems and guardrail systems, warning line systems and safety net systems, or warning line systems and personal fall arrest systems, or warning line systems and safety monitoring systems: 2790 Hwy K, O'Fallon: Employer is exposing employees to hazardous conditions. The employees are exposed to fall hazards where they work without fall protection systems 6 feet above lower level. On and about 08/03/2017 five employees who were working on a church roof wore harnesses which were not attached to any anchor points were exposed to a fall distance of approximately 8 feet. The employer, G R Remodeling, Inc., was previously cited for a repeat violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926 501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1168337, citation number 02, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on 08/30/16, with respect to a workplace located at 5337 Enchanted Drive, Weldon Spring, MO 63304.
