29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s): At 2000 W. Main Street, Washington, MO, specifically inside of the Fabrication Area, the point of operation (P.O.O.) belonging to the Filler Cutter Machine, s/n 874001, was inadequately guarded. Specifically, the width of the two openings leading to the P.O.O. were approximately three fourths of one inch. The distance to the P.O.O. was measured at approximately four inches. Table 0-10 requires that the guard be a minimum of five and one half inches away from the P.O.O. This violation was observed on 08/23/17.
