29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Ladders shall be used only for the purpose for which they were designed. a. On or about August 24, 2017, located at 157 Mannaseh Drive, employees were using a stepladder to lean against scaffolding in order to gain access to the scaffold platform which was not being used for the purpose in which it was designed, thereby exposing the employees to a maximum fall hazard of six feet.
