29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) On August 24, 2017, employees engaged in roofing activity were not protected from fall hazards while working at an elevation of approximately 19.5 feet above the ground. Style Exteriors, Inc. dba Style by Carden Exteriors, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1104791, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on February 2, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 102 E. Camp McDonald Rd., Prospect Heights, IL 60070. Style Exteriors, Inc. dba Style by Carden Exteriors, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 915951, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on August 21, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 2858-2862 Meadow Ln., Schaumburg, IL 60193. Style Exteriors, Inc. dba Style by Carden Exteriors, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 562138, citation number 1, item number and was affirmed as a final order on September 26, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at 5013 W. Winnemac Ave., Chicago, IL 60656. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification.
