Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure.     a. On or about August 25, 2017, at the above referenced worksite, employees engaged in residential construction activities on a residential roof were exposed to a fall hazard greater than 6 feet. The employer failed to ensure that all exposed employees utilized fall protection as required by this standard. Employees were thereby exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 10 feet.          There is no abatement certification of documentation required for this item.
