29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there is a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, shall be protected by protective helmets. a. On or about August 30, 2017, at the above referenced worksite, employees engaged in residential construction activities on a residential roof were exposed to there is a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects. The employer failed to ensure that all exposed employees protected by protective helmets as required by this standard. Employees were thereby exposed to a struck-by hazard. There is no abatement certification of documentation required for this item.
