29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area:    (a) Employees that use the chemical TH527 hardner are exposed to Diisocyanate, a chemical ingredient found in  the product.  Employees were not trained on the hazards of diisocyanate, that include skin irritation and sensitization.

29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(5)(ii): The employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the appropriate hazard warnings:  Located in production building in the assembly area on the work benches:  (a) A white plastic squirt bottle of acetone was labeled only with the chemical  name. The bottle did not warn employees of the chemical hazards, such as flammability by use of GHS warning statements and pictograms.  (b) Red metal flammable liquid safety cans containing acetone was labeled only with the chemical name.  The container did not warn employees of the chemical hazards, such as flammability by use of GHS warning statements and pictograms.

29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2): Listed or labeled electrical equipment was not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling.  (a) A relocatable power strip located in the finishing room and attached to the top of a work bench, was used in an industrial environment and not according to the listed use.   In the alternative:  29 CFR 1910.305(a)(2)(i): Temporary electrical power and lighting installations rated 600 volts, nominal, or less were used for purposes other than those permitted in subparagraphs (A), (B) and (C) of this paragraph:  (a) A relocatable power strip located in the finishing room and attached to the top of a work bench, was used in place of permanent wiring to supply electrical power to inspection lights and other production equipment.
