29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit routes were not kept free and unobstructed. Materials or equipment were placed, either permanently or temporarily, within the exit route. Main work area exit route: Postal general purpose containers (GPC) completely blocked the route leading to a designated exit. Employees are exposed to entrapment hazards. The U.S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1186652, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 01/17/2017 with respect to a workplace located at the U.S. Postal Service - Santa Clarita. The U.S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard [29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3)], which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1010032, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on April 7, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 11251 Rancho Carmel Drive, San Diego, California 92199.
