29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets: a) Porch Roof - On or about September 5, 2017, a carpenter operating a pneumatic nail gun while installing replacement windows and exposed to flying objects was not provided with head protection. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).
