29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) Roof Section - Employees were installing a polyethylene cover on a flat roof that measured 30 feet by 40 feet and not protected from a 20 feet fall hazard, on or about 06/22/2018. Progressive Builders, LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1261260, Citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 12/04/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 302 16th Street, NE Washington DC 20007. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet), in addition, documentation demonstrating the abatement is complete must be included with your certification.
