OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that they were exposed to impalement hazards. (a) Location - 25 Derby Street, Salem, MA: On or about 8/30/2017, employees were exposed to impalement hazards from unprotected protruding threaded rods that were going to be utilized for the base of a support piping stanchion.
