29 CFR 1926.250(b)(9): Structural steel trusses were not racked or stacked and blocked to prevent tilting. On or about September 7, 2017, employees were exposed to struck-by hazards and caught-in hazards from up-right structural steel trusses on the ground that were not adequately racked, stacked or blocked to prevent tilting resulting in ten up-right steel trusses overturning. Abatement documentation is required of this item in accordance with requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).

29 CFR 1926.752(b): The steel erection contractor began steel erection work without written notification that the concrete in the in the footings, piers and wall, or the mortar in the in the masonry piers and walls has attained, on the basis of an appropriate ASTM standard test method of field-cured samples, either 75 percent of the intended minimum compressive design strength or sufficient strength to support the loads imposed during steel erection. On or about September 7, 2017, the employer began steel erection with written notice from the controlling contractor that the supportive concrete structures had attained 75 percent of the of the minimum intended strength, as required by this standard. Abatement certification is required of this item in accordance with requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
