29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1): The employer did not submit to the Agency documents demonstrating that abatement is complete for each willful or repeat violation and for any serious violation for which the Agency indicates in the citation that such abatement documentation is required. On December 12, 2017, Ed Herschberger dba Herschberger Builders, was issued citations and the employer did not verify, through documents that each citation was abated. Abatement documentation was not received for the following violation: Citation 1 Item 1. Ed Herschberger, dba Herschberger Builders, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard , 29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1114209, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 05/12/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 1209 Morningside Lane, Mahomet, IL. Ed Herschberger, dba Herschberger Builders, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard , 29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1228009, citation number 3, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/27/2017, with respect to a workplace located at Abbey Fields Dr. and Marie Blvd., Champaign, IL.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level shall be protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about September 5, 2017 employees were exposed to fall hazards while installing roof trusses because none of the fall protection systems specified above were used to protect employees from falling approximately 20 feet to the ground below.
