29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): 1926.102(a)(1): Employees were not provided with eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: On or about September 12, 2017, the employer failed to ensure that employees engaged in roofing activities were protected by flying particles. Employees were utilizing pneumatic air guns without the use of safety rated glasses.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about September 12, 2017, the employer failed to ensure that employees engaged in roofing activities of a residential home were protected from falling to the ground below by use of fall protection devices. Employees were working at heights of 12 feet and greater on a roof without the use of fall protection devices.
