29 CFR 1910.107(c)(7): Electric lamps outside of but within 20 feet of spraying area(s), and not separated therefrom by partition(s), were not protected from mechanical injury by suitable guards or by location:   a)  Leaotaur Technology Group - On or about September 14, 2017, an employee spray coating in the spray booth with Gel Coat, a flammable material, was exposed to fire and burn hazards as there were three 16" x 16" openings in the ceiling of the spray booth each with an unprotected incandescent light bulb located 6 inches above the booth openings.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date.  The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.107(f)(3): Sprinklers protecting spraying areas were not kept as free from deposits as practical by cleaning daily if necessary:  a)  Leaotaur Technology Group - On or about September 14, 2017, an employee spray coating in the spray booth with Gel Coat, a flammable material, was exposed to fire and burn hazards as there was an accumulation of combustible residue on the booth sprinkler heads located in front of and behind the filters.  Leotaur Technology Group, d/b/a Lehigh Surfaces was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.107(f)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 896067, citation number 1, item number 3b and was affirmed as a final order on August 6, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 111 Lehigh Street, Macungie, PA 18062.  Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.  Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photograph or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
