Employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 11 feet 2 inches. This hazard was obseved on 9/14/17.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access: a) 4 Hedges Drive, Edison, NJ: Employees engaged in residential roofing work were exposed to fall hazards while accessing the roof using an aluminum ladder that only extended approximately 6 inches above the upper landing surface of the roof.
