On or about 22 September 2017, an employee was using a Hitachi nail gun to conduct roofing activities on a residential home under construction without the use of eye protection, exposing the employee to the hazard of flying particles.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Employees engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above the lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about 22 September 2017, two employees were conducting roofing activities on the roof of a residential home under construction at heights greater than 6 feet without the use of fall protection, exposing the employees to a fall hazard.
