29 CFR 1926.502(f)(1)(i): When mechanical equipment was not being used, the warning lines were permitted to be erected less than 6 feet (1.8 m) from the roof edge:      Instances including, but not limited to, the following:    a) Job site, 4812 McKnight Road, Pittsburgh, PA: On or about October 2, 2017, during roofing activities, the employer did not ensure that warning lines used for fall protection were properly erected in that they were placed on the outer edge of the roof, determined visually to be within approximately 1 foot or so from the edge of the roof, exposing employees to fall hazards of up to approximately 14 feet.    Tennis Roofing and Asphalt, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or it's equivalent standard ,29 CFR 1926.502(f)(1)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 984631, citation number 1, item number 1b, and was affirmed as a final order on August 26, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at the corner of 9th Street and Midland Avenue, Midland, PA.
