THE R COAST CONSTRUCTION, LLC WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.304(D), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 844244 CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON MARCH 7, 2013, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT LOT 28, 26702 AUGUSTINE DR., DAPHNE, ALABAMA AND IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1236341, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 2, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON AUGUST 21, 2017, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 472 ORLEANS STREET, THE RETREAT AT BON SECOUR, GULF SHORES, ALABAMA .

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:  a)  At 4854 Cypress Loop, Orange Beach, Alabama:  On or about October 3, 2017 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to perform roofing activities without first ensuring those employees were trained on the nature of fall hazards to include but not limited to the nature of fall hazards in the workplace, and the correct procedures for erecting, maintaining, disassembling and inspecting fall protection systems exposing his employees to fall hazards of up to 21 feet 8 inches to the ground below.
