29 CFR 1926.552(a)(1): The employer did not comply with manufacturer's specifications and limitations applicable to the operation of all hoists and elevators: Jobsite located at 150 White Rock Drive, Windsor, Connecticut: On, or about, May 4, 2017, employees were observed climbing down the track of a RCG platform hoist instead of using a separate ladder. The platform hoist instructions clearly stated that a ladder was required for accessing upper work levels and that climbing on the track was unsafe.
