29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) Roof: Three employees replacing the roof on a commercial building were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 25 feet while working without a personal fall arrest system or other means of fall protection on a roof with a pitch of 18/12, on or about 10/06/2017. J.S. Aldo's Construction Co., Inc. as previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1227237, citation number 1, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on 7/27/2017 with respect to a workplace located at 859 Main Street, Paterson, NJ 07503.
