29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s): a) Lower Mill - Wood Shop: On or about October 6, 2017 and at times prior thereto; multiple employees are operating a Delta Drill Press: SN 8912, CAT No 14-040, that lacks point of operation guarding and is located within the walking path of mill workers. b) Lower Mill - Wood Shop: On or about October 6, 2017 and at times prior thereto; multiple employees are operating a Jet 12" Drill Press: Serial No. 2011/090816, Model No JDP-12, which lacks point of operation guarding. c) Welding Department - Metal Shop: On or about October 6, 2017 and at times prior thereto; employees are operating a vintage Hydraulic Tube Bender which lacks point of operation guarding and guarding over the foot pedal. Note* Abatement certification IS required for this item.
