29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where the eyes or body of any person may be exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body shall be provided within the work area for immediate emergency use. *A suitable eye wash must meet the minimum criteria as defined by ANSI/ISEA Z358.1. a) Facility floor, behind the folding machine: The employer did not ensure that employees working with the caustic solution, sodium hypochlorite, had a suitable eye wash station available for use, thus exposing them to corrosive chemical hazards. This condition was observed/noted on/about 12 OCT 2017.
