When wet processes are used, drainage was not maintained and, to the extent feasible, dry standing places, such as false floors, platforms, and mats must be provided.    22 Williams Ave, Chelsea, MA 02150    a) On or about 10/29/19, a hallway that led between the shop floor and the storage room was wet and had a substance that generated a slippery surface. Employees were not provided an alternate route or adequate personal protective equipment in the form of footwear.

By not having the mechanism stop after releasing the control buttons, the employee can place hands into the point of operation where the sealer contacts the sealing surface.      Wash Cycle Laundry was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA Inspection 1269664, citation number 1, item number 3A, and was affirmed as a final order on April 10, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 3600 Sansom Street, Philadelphia, PA 19102.
