Employees were exposed to lacerations.

Employees were exposed to lacerations.

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met:                   Hazard Communication Program:  The written hazard communication program was inadequate.  Employees use hazardous chemicals such as flammable paints, thinners, and welding gases, Quikrete, and various cleaning products.  A written program had not been developed to include:                1. A list of all hazardous chemicals used at the work site;   1. Current Safety Data Sheets (SDS's);                2. A description of the new pictogram system;              3. A description of the  labeling system that will be used in the workplace;  4. A description of training and information provided to affected employees.
