29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) 1755 Thomason Drive, Opelika AL; On or about October 18, 2017 the employer exposed his employees to fall hazards in that employees were allowed to walk and work on the top plate of a wall which had an unprotected edge exposing employees to a 13 foot 1/2 inch fall to the next level.
