29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) On or about 7 November 2017 at 1755 Thomason Dr., Opelika, Al: The employer failed to ensure employees installing sheathing on a 6:12 pitch roof used fall protection in that the two employees wore their harness, however, did not connect an lanyard attached to an anchor which exposed them to falls of 11 feet 5 inches.
