29 CFR 1910.134(c)(2)(i): Respirator users were not provided with the information contained in Appendix D to 29 CFR 1910.134 when the employer determined that any voluntary respirator use was permissible: a) Borbet Alabama host employer site in Paint, Casting and Machine Areas: On or about October 30, 2017 and at times prior to, the employer exposed employees to inhalation hazards from paint, and aluminum dust and provided filtering face piece respirators without providing annual or initial training on respirators to include Appendix D of the respiratory protection standard. The HanSa Industrial Services, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard CFR 1910.134 (c)(2)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1207307, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 4/24/2017, with respect to a workplace located at Borbet Alabama, 979 Veterans Blvd., Auburn, AL 36832.
