Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1).

29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2):The employer did not provide for frequent and/or regular inspections of the job sites, materials, and equipment to be made by competent persons designated by the employer: a) Riverdale St (South)., West Springfield, MA: On or about November 15, 2017, employees working in unprotected excavation greater than 7 feet in depth were exposed to cave in hazards and the employer had not provided or ensured that frequent and/or regular inspections of the job site were made prior to the employees entered the excavation by a competent person to ensure the work was conducted in accordance with the applicable excavation standards. Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1).
