29 CFR 1910.217(b)(1): Machine component(s) of mechanical power press(es) were not designed, secured, or covered to minimize hazards caused by breakage, or loosening and falling, or release of mechanical energy. At the draw press machine, the staffing services employer did not ensure that the host employer secured the stripper plate (ring) from lifting with the die and prevented it from falling exposing the temporary employee to amputation hazards.
