Employees spray flammable paint inside of the spray booth.

29 CFR 1910.1000(a)(2): Employee(s) were exposed to an airborne concentration of Particulates Not Otherwise Regulated listed in Table Z-1 in excess of the 8 hour Time Weighted Average concentration of 5 mg/m3:    a)  In the Powder Coating Booth, on or about January 18, 2018 - An employee, designated as a Powder Coater, exposed to Particulates Not Otherwise Regulated (Respirable Fraction) to an airborne concentration of 7.64 milligrams per cubic meter.  This is approximately 1.52 times in excess of the permissible exposure limit of 5 milligrams per cubic meter.  Sampling was conducted for 347 minutes and zero exposure was assumed for 133 minutes.      b)  An employee, designated as a Sandblaster, was exposed to Particulates Not Otherwise Regulated (Respirable Fraction) to an airborne concentration of 191.43 milligrams per cubic meter.  This is approximately 38.28 times in excess of the permissible exposure limit of 5 milligrams per cubic meter.  Sampling was conducted for 335 minutes and zero exposure was assumed for 145 minutes.
