29 CFR 1926.307(f)(3): The employer failed to guard gears, sprockets and/or chains that were less than 7 feet (2.128 m) from the floor or platform: (a) Approach to bridge on Long Island Expressway - During a concrete pour, an employee's hand was caught by the in-going nip point of a sprocket and chain on a Bidwell 3600 concrete finishing machine; on or about 11/17/17. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $ 1,000.00 AS PER 29 CFR 1903.19.
