29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i) as required by 1960.8(b):  The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed:   The employer did not ensure annual inspections were conducted by an authorized person of the energy control procedures to ensure that they were properly implemented during servicing and/or maintenance on equipment.   The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Pendills Creek was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(I), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1052978, citation number1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on October 29, 2015 with respect to a workplace located at 21990 W. Trout Lane, Brimley, Michigan 49717.

29 CFR 1910.242(b) as required by 1960.8(b): Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 p.s.i.:   On or about November 28, 2017, in the boiler room , a wand type air nozzle equipped with a chip guard was used for cleaning purposes and the air pressure was not reduced to 30 p.s.i. The air pressure was set at approximately 100 p.s.i., there by exposing employees to a struck by hazard.    The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Pendills Creek was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.242(b), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1052978, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on October 29, 2015 with respect to a workplace located at 21990 W. Trout Lane, Brimley, Michigan 49717.

29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1)(ii) as required by 1960.8(b):  Unused openings in boxes, cabinets, or fittings were not effectively closed:  On or about November 28, 2017, the employer failed to ensure unused openings (knockouts) in boxes and cabinets were effectively closed:  In the Maintenance Shop, One Phase circuit breaker panel was missing one knockout.   The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Pendills Creek was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1052978, citation number 3, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on October 29, 2015 with respect to a workplace located at 21990 W. Trout Lane, Brimley, Michigan 49717.
