29 CFR 1910.119(f)(1)(iii)(B): The employer shall clarify and implement written operating procedures that provide clear precautions necessary to prevent exposure, including personal protective equipment; On or about November 20, 2017, at the facility in unit 45, the employer did not clarify written operating procedures that provided clear precautions of which respiratory protection to don while blowing down/venting transmitters. Employee was exposed to the unexpected release of H2S to the atmosphere that can lead to injury or death to persons working at the facility.
