29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. 1) 2 S. Yarmouth Ave., Longport, NJ: On or about 12/11/2017, three Giant Builders employees were conducting framing activities on a multi-story residential structure, installing the third story's floor joists and plywood decking. he workers were not using any form of fall protection and were thus exposed to fall hazards of greater than 25 feet around the perimeter of the structure. Giant Builders Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1253148 citation number 01, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/04/2017), with respect to a workplace located at 5 Chesterton Court, Barnegat, NJ.
