29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. a. On or about December 13, 2017, at the site located at 7236 Monarch Street, Canal Winchester, Ohio, an employee was performing siding work on the backside of a two story home from the lower level roof with a pitch of approximately 6 in 12 and approximately 10 feet in height with no fall protection, thereby exposing the employee to a fall hazard.
