29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees from hazard(s) created by ingoing nip points: (a) Q Cell Machine Operations: On or about December 18, 2017, employees performing work near an unguarded Nip Roller Belt were exposed to crushing/pinch point hazard and amputation injury. The Sellars Absorbent Materials, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1244368, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on December 8, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 6540 North Industrial Road in Milwaukee, WI 53223.
