29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: b. On or about December 27, 2017, in the production area, employees were required to sort and stack trays from a moving conveyor. The employer did not adequately guard the inrunning nip points created by two conveyor ends coming together. Employees were exposed to pinching hazards.

29 CFR 1910.132(h)(1): Except as provided by paragraphs (h)(2) through (h)(6) of this section, the protective equipment, including personal protective equipment (PPE), used to comply with this part, shall be provided by the employer at no cost to employees. a. On or about December 27, 2107, in the production area, employees required to work near and around the Calussi conveyors were exposed to slip and fall hazards due to wet floors. The employer did not provide rubber boots at no cost to the employees.
