29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a) Outside Chemical Storage Area: An eyewash was not provided where corrosive acids (hydrochloric & nitric) and a base (sodium hydroxide) were stored in several 55-gallon drums and dispensed/transferred using a hand pump. b) Outside Scrubber for Stripping Building: An eyewash was not provided where a 55-gallon drum of 25% sodium hydroxide was set up and used to supply the corrosive to the scrubber.
