29 CFR 1926.651(c)(2): A stairway, ladder, ramp or other safe means of egress was not located in trench excavations that were 4 feet (1.22m) or more in depth so as to require no more than 25 feet (7.62m) of lateral travel for employees: On 12/18/2017, employees of ERC Properties Inc. were working in a trench located near North Cloverleaf Drive, Saint Peters, MO 63376, at this work site, workers were inside an open trench, approximately 5 feet wide, approximately 119 feet in total length, and approximately 6-7 feet deep (at time of inspection), and were not provided a safe means of egress.
