29 CFR 1910.29(b)(10): (10) When guardrail systems are used at hoist areas, a removable guardrail section, consisting of a top rail and midrail, was not placed across the access opening between guardrail sections when employees are not performing hoisting operations: a) Hoist Area near Ink Room: On or about January 17, 2018 and at times prior, employees were exposed to a fall from height of approximately 9 feet while working near an hoist area from which the guardrail had been removed. Hoisting operations were not in progress.
