29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about January 19, 2018, employees were performing roofing work on the commercial building under construction approximately 18 feet high without the use of fall protection, exposing the employees to a fall hazard.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access: On or about January 19, 2018, employees were performing roofing work on the commercial building under construction approximately 18 feet high using ladders to access the roof that did not extend at least 3 feet above the upper landing surface, exposing the employees to a fall hazard. The Schulte Roofing company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1200701, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on February 1, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 2001 West Campbell Road Garland, TX 75044.
