29 CFR 1910.133(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation: Employees engaged in vehicle spray down are exposed to struck by hazards from flying particles and liquid chemical while operating a power washer with Don't Bug Me at the entrance to the carwash in that appropriate eye protection was not used. Waterway Gas & Wash Co. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.133(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1006576, citation number 1, item number 1c, and was affirmed as a final order on January 21, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 7010 North Aurora Road, Aurora, OH 44202.

29 CFR 1910.134(k)(6): The employer did not provide the basic advisory information on respirators, as presented in Appendix D of 29 CFR 1910.134, in written or oral format to employees who wear respirators when such use was not required by the employer: Employees engaged in tunnel and pit cleaning activities were exposed to respiratory hazards, while voluntarily wearing N-95 filtering face piece respirators, in that the employer did not provide employees with Appendix D of the respiratory standard. Waterway Gas & Wash Co. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.134(k)(6), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1006576, citation number 2, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on January 21, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 7010 North Aurora Road, Aurora, OH 44202.
