29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his/her environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury: Jobsite: All workers involved in demolition and renovation work were not instructed to recognize hazards from asbestos containing materials (ACM), the need to avoid disturbance of the asbestos material and the potential to uncover ACM while working in a building constructed in 1902. First floor: On 1-31-18, a gray/white ACM material was uncovered between layers of old flooring and it was chipped out potentially exposing employees to airborne asbestos fibers.
