29 CFR 1915.87(e):   The employer did not ensure that facilities for quick-drenching and flushing of the eyes were located for immediate emergency use and within close proximity to the operations where the potential exists for an employee to be splashed with a substance that may result in an acute or serious injury:    a) On or about January 25, 2018, in the shop area, the employer did not provide suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes where employees are exposed chemicals such as, but not limited to 2-aminoethanol, 2-butoxyethanol, acetone, and mineral spirits which are included in S-722 Foaming Degreaser, Georgia Gulf Acetone, Vic-Sol Reclaimed Mineral Spirits, during job tasks such as cleaning parts, tools and equipment.     b) On or about February 8, 2018, in building 2, the employer did not provide suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes where employees are exposed to chemicals such as, but not limited to styrene, epoxy resin, butanol, xylenes, ethyl-benzene, and aluminum hydroxide which are contained in Evercoat all-purpose filler, Interlux Micron CSC, and Interlux Interprotect, during job tasks such as painting and surface repair on recreational boats.
