OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):  The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees by exposing employees to struck-by and/or caught-between hazards.    a) Truss Fabrication Area, Desawyer Machine: On or about February 2, 2018, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards and/or caught-between hazards in that the Transport Arm Endplate of the Monet Desawyer Compound Saw Model 2000 created a pinch point with the Leverage Arm of the Live Deck on the adjacent conveyor.    Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable means of abatement to materially reduce the hazards would be to:  install a Leverage Arm that swings freely horizontally in either direction and can also be folded out of the way in an upward motion.
