29 CFR  1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  (a) Trussway Manufacturing, Inc.: On or before 3/8/22 the employer did not protect employees from injury in that the MiTek Rail Rider Pro on Lane 1 lacked guarding between the crash bar and the roller and roller housing. This condition exposed employees to struck-by, caught-in, and crushing hazards.  (b) Trussway Manufacturing, Inc.: On or before 3/8/22 the employer did not protect employees from injury in that the MiTek Rail Rider on Lane 2 lacked guarding between the crash bar and the roller and roller housing. This condition exposed employees to struck-by, caught-in, and crushing hazards.  (c) Trussway Manufacturing, Inc.: On or before 3/8/22 the employer did not protect employees from injury in that the Monet FWA500 "web saw" lacked guarding at the operator's station, where moving saw blades and chain conveyors were present. These conditions exposed employees to laceration, amputation, caught-in, and crushing hazards.  (d) Trussway Manufacturing, Inc.: On or before 3/8/22 the employer did not protect employees from injury in that the MiTek Smart Set saw was missing appropriate guarding for rotating saw blades, moving sections of the machine carriage, chain conveyors, and sprockets for the chain conveyors. These conditions exposed employees to hazards including but not limited to: laceration, amputation, struck-by, caught in, broken saw teeth, flying wood chips.  (e) Trussway Manufacturing, Inc.: On or before 3/8/22 the employer did not protect employees from injury in that the Monet Desawyer, "sawyer" saw was missing appropriate guarding for rotating saw blades, moving sections of the machine carriage, chain conveyors, and sprockets for the chain conveyors. These conditions exposed employees to hazards including but not limited to: laceration, amputation, struck-by, caught in, broken saw teeth, flying wood chips.
