29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not maintain copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical in the workplace: Employees were working with leaf alcohol while no copies of the SDS sheet was available to provide important information about necessary personal protective equipment, emergency response methods and incident controls. Employees were exposed to fire and explosion hazards, as well as skin, eye, and respiratory tract irritation. The U.S. Department of Agriculture - APHIS was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1012538, citation number 1, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on 01/09/2015, with respect to a workplace located at 2297 Niels Bohr Court, Suite 200, San Diego, CA 92154.
