29 CFR 1903.19(c)(1): The employer did not certify to OSHA, within 10 calendar days after the abatement date, that the cited violation had been abated: (a) On or about July 31, 2018, and at times prior, By The Rio, LLC., dba, Carl's Jr. did not certify to OSHA that the following cited violations had been abated: 1- Citation 1, Item 1a: Employees at the drive-thru window were exposed to contact with electrical hazards in that water from the ceiling drips onto live 120V computer electrical equipment when it rains or when snow melts. 2- Citation 1, Item 1b: Employees were exposed to contact with live 120V electrical hazards in that a mini freezer located in the kitchen area was observed with signs of strain at the plug. 3- Citation 2, Item 1: Access to an electrical panel in the kitchen area was blocked by equipment and supplies. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
