29 CFR 1910.242(b): Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 PSI.: (a) On or about February 21, 2018, and at times prior, the employer did not ensure that compressed air used for cleaning purposes was reduced to less than 30 PSI. Employees in the tire shop were exposed to air injection hazards in that they used compressed air at a pressure of 45 PSI to clean equipment and work clothing. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
